A modern lead process determines whether your box grows or misses opportunities to grow. As a CrossFit owner, your first impression starts at the very first moment of contact with your customer, when someone tries to book a trial class (or trial week). The barrier to train is often very high, let alone trying out a new sport. Booking a trial class should be super simple and frictionless, increasing the likelihood that someone actually takes that first leap.
Why traditional gym software loses leads
A lead that goes through the lead process of traditional gym software needs to fill in 9 to 15 fields, click 8 to 10 times and is pushed through 4 to 6 separate screens before a trial class is booked. Rarely do we see iCal attachments, to add the trial class to your calendar and decrease the likelihood of a no-show.
The fewer fields and clicks required, the lower the barrier becomes to booking that first trial class. Most gym software providers make it unnecessarily difficult for a lead to book a trial class. For some of you means you are taking on the responsibility to create your own lead process outside of the software, we feel you, that shouldn't be on you!
We believe that the best lead process is frictionless and very easy-to-use.

You should expect more from your software
That’s the conclusion from the 150+ interviews Gino and I (Sharief) have conducted with you, the gym owners. Can booking a trial class (or week) be just as frictionless as reserving a table at your favorite restaurant? We think the answer to that question is a loud and clear: YES!
The lead process needs to be simple, fast, and intuitive, without forcing leads to leave your website or click through multiple screens. To achieve this, we’ve built the Huppa booking widget.
The Huppa booking widget
The Huppa booking widget is designed to remove friction from the lead process and maximize conversion. We do this by giving your future leads (and drop-ins) the option to pick a class they like, pay for it and show up!
Embedded directly onto your website
A simple embed code loads the Huppa booking widget on your website. Your visitors stay within the context of your brand, so no redirects and no confusion. You can add up to two buttons to each widget, for example to distinct between a trial and a drop-in.
With the Huppa booking widget you decide which classes from your schedule are visible to the outside world, so you can easily distinct between what leads and drop-ins are able to book.Your lead can book a trial class (or week) in 3 to 4 steps
Choose a class from the schedule
Enter your email, first name, last name and a password
Only for paid trials: Pay the outstanding amount (via iDeal | Wero, Credit Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay)
Done, your trial class is booked! ✅
Automatic confirmation with iCal attachment and invoice
The lead receives a confirmation email with an iCal attachment, so they can add the class to their own calendar. That confirmation email also contains the invoice of their purchase.
All your leads in one simple overview
With Huppa, every booking made through the booking widget automatically appears in the leads overview. No spreadsheets, no manual follow-up, no leads slipping through the cracks. During class, your coach instantly see who is a lead, so they can give these people an extra warm welcome and guide them through their first interaction with your box.

Huppa helps with leads, so you can deliver the experience
Huppa helps you as a CrossFit owner with simplifying and automating your lead process, so you and your team are empowered to give this lead an unforgettable first experience at your box. Gone are the days of barely converting lead flows and unclear expectations for your future members or staff.
I’d be happy to take a look at your current lead process and show you how and where improvements can be made :-)
It costs you nothing, just a bit of time, a coffee and one of those infamous trial classes.
