A modern lead process determines whether your box grows or misses opportunities to grow. As a CrossFit owner, your first impression starts at the very first moment of contact with your customer, when someone tries to book a trial class (or trial week). The barrier to sport is often very high, even higher is the barrier to trying a new sport, so booking a trial class (or week) should be extra simple and frictionless, increasing the likelihood that someone actually takes that first step.
Why traditional gym software loses leads
Most gym software providers do not integrate the lead process properly into their software or they make it unnecessarily difficult for a lead to book a trial class (or week). SportBit Manager and Virtuagym are examples of software providers that make the lead process harder than it needs to be.

SportBit Manager requires a lead to fill in at least 9 fields, click 10 times and navigate through 4 separate screens before a trial class (or week) is finally booked. Afterwards, the lead receives a confirmation email without an iCal attachment (meaning the customer’s trail class (or week) cannot be automatically added to their calendar) and the confirmation comes without an invoice.
In addition, many of the fields that leads are required to fill in are not essential. The fewer fields and clicks required, the lower the barrier becomes to booking a trial class (or week). Adding an iCal file also significantly reduces no-shows. How often do you manually add appointments to your calendar from an email? Not often right?
